October 1st – October 7th, 2005

09/28/05 A non-student was caught trying to get student picture ID. He was trespassed and escorted from campus.

10/03/05 A laptop was stolen from a conference room in the North Bank Center. At the time it was stolen, two unknown subjects were in the office. After leaving the office, these same subjects then attempted to sell a laptop computer to an employee at a nearby Motel. They were subsequently located and identified. Witnesses in the case have identified them. A warrant request was presented to the Prosecutor’s office. This investigation continues.

10/03/05 Public Safety assisted a book store employee having chest pains. She was transported to a nearby medical facility by ambulance.

10/04/05 Public Safety assisted in the apprehension of a subject fleeing from Flint Police. The subject was apprehended and turned over to Flint police.

10/04/05 A suspect has been identified in a case involving obscene phone calls to an office in the William S. White building. The suspect is also wanted in the Escanaba, Michigan area for this same offense. Criminal charges are being sought.

10/05/05 A handicap permit was reported stolen out of an unoccupied car with its windows rolled down. There are no suspects at this time. This investigation continues.

10/07/05 A computer monitor was stolen out of the Murchie Science Building lab. An investigation is continuing.
