October 8th – October 14th , 2005
10/08/05 A suspicious subject was investigated and released, as he was reported to have been loitering in parking lot G. He was found to be in possession of a bag with hand tools. After releasing this subject, Flint Police broadcast the description of a burglary suspect that had stolen hand tools from a nearby address. The description matched the suspicious subject. The subjects name, photo, report, and the evidence were turned over to Flint Police.
10/08/05 A dumpster near the North Bank Center was found to be on fire. The Flint Fire Department responded and put the fire out. This investigation continues.
10/10/05 A wallet was stolen from an unlocked locker in the Recreation Center. Public Safety is continuing to investigate.
10/10/05 An IPOD was stolen from a back pack left unattended on the gym floor in the Recreation Center. Public Safety is continuing to investigate.
10/13/05 A UM Ann Arbor fleet car rented by the UM-Flint was found with damage along the entire side of the car. A nearby cement pole had consistent paint transfer on it. It is unknown who damaged the vehicle. An investigation continues,
10/13/05 A wallet was stolen from an unlocked locker in the Recreation Center. Public Safety is continuing to investigate.
10/14/05 Patrons of the University Pavilion informed a Public Safety officer of an incident occurring at Saginaw and Kearsley streets. A woman collapsed due to medical conditions. Public Safety provided first aid until the arrival of an ambulance. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
