10/24/04 Sunday A DPS police officer discovered a strong burning smell coming from a bathroom in French Hall. Flint Fire was contacted and responded. The source was discovered to be an electrical ballast for the lights that had burned out. Facilities Management replaced the ballast.
10/26/04 Tuesday A subject was arrested for begging students near the William S. White building. She provided a false name thinking she had warrants for her arrest. A crack pipe was found in her possession. Arrest warrants for possession of cocaine, disorderly conduct-begging, and providing false information to police will be sought.
10/26/04 Tuesday Personal possessions were stolen from a locker in the men's locker room in the Recreation Center .
10/27/04 Wednesday Hit and run property damage was reported to a car parked in the Mill Street parking structure.
10/27/04 Wednesday A woman was arrested for begging inside the University Pavilion. She was trespassed from returning to University property and released.
10/27/04 Wednesday Hit and run property damage was reported to a car parked in Lot A.
10/29/04 Friday A vagrant from Detroit was found bathing himself in a restroom in the Murchie Science Building just after the building opened. He was trespassed from returning to University property.
