February 14 – February 20, 2004
02/14/04 Saturday A husband delivered his daughter to her mother at the Recreation Center for a pre-arranged child visitation. The child reported that her mother had been drinking. An odor of alcohol was noticed on the mother by several persons. The incident was documented as a potential contempt of court violation.
02/15/04 Sunday A Navy pea coat containing a cell phone was stolen from the Theater lobby. A suspect was identified. The cell phone and coat were recovered. The suspect confessed to the larceny and a felony charge of larceny from a building was obtained.
02/16/04 Monday A subject previously trespassed by Public Safety was caught prowling around in the Theater. The suspect was arrested and was found to be in possession of a crack pipe. A felony cocaine possession charge is being sought.
02/16/04 Monday A wallet was stolen from a locked locker in the Recreation Center .
02/18/04 Wednesday Two backpacks left unattended in the Library were stolen. They were later found on the third floor of the library with indications they had been searched. Nothing was stolen.
02/18/04 Wednesday A student reported that someone had punched the door lock to his car in an attempt to gain entry. Entry was not made. This incident might have happened off of campus.
02/18/04 Wednesday Hit and run property damage was reported to a car that was parked in Lot G.
02/20/04 Friday A subject previously trespassed by the University was arrested after he was caught begging for money in French Hall. A trespass warrant will be sought.
