February 19 – February 25, 2005
02/21/05 A student reported being verbally threatened by another student. The complainant in this case wanted the incident documented only, and no further follow-up was requested by the student.
02/22/05 A car parked in one of the William S. White building parking lots was broken into. Review of the surveillance video showed a suspect driving a dark colored SUV pull up next to victim's vehicle, get out and force entry. The suspect stole a portable DVD player with twin screens. This incident is under further investigation.
02/22/05 A driver of a vehicle reported that she struck a parked vehicle in the Mill St. parking deck. An accident report was completed.
02/22/05 A vehicle parked in the Water Street Ramp reported damage to his vehicle while it is was parked. An investigation is underway.
02/23/05 A staff member reported being intimidated while jogging on the Recreational Center 's track. The suspect was interviewed. This incident is under further investigation.
02/23/05 A student slipped and fell in lot P near the William S. White building. The fall resulted in a broken ankle requiring surgery. Public Safety was present at the time she fell, and provided first aid until an ambulance arrived.
02/23/05 A wallet was stolen from a locker in the men's locker room in the Recreation Center . The wallet was left unattended in the unlocked locker only briefly. This incident is under further investigation.
