February 21– February 27, 2004
02/24/04 Tuesday Four cars parked near the William S. White building were broken into. Car stereos and other property were stolen. A checkbook was taken from one car. A suspect has been identified and is under investigation.
02/24/04 Tuesday A subject discovered to be a student was observed stealing a textbook and was planning on selling it back for cash. He was contacted by Public Safety as he was preparing to sell it back. A criminal charge of retail theft will be sought.
02/24/04 Tuesday A suspicious person was stopped in the Murchie Science Building after DPS received a telephone call on him. He was arrested on an outstanding criminal arrest warrant. He was taken to district court for arraignment.
02/25/04 Wednesday Public Safety assisted Flint PD with recovering a car stolen from within the city. The vehicle was unattended.
