April 9 – April 15, 2005

04/11/05 Someone attempted to pry open the ATM machine located in French Hall. The suspect failed to gain entry into the vault, but damaged the machine. Latent finger prints were recovered from the machine and have been sent in for analysis.

04/11/05 A relative of a client for Gault Davison law firm located in the North Bank Center walked into the back office area of the firm angrily looking for a legal assistant. The suspect became loud and disorderly. She assaulted one of the firm's attorneys by attempting to kick him in the groin and leg area. She was arrested and committed for psychiatric evaluation. An arrest warrant for assault and battery was obtained on suspect.

04/11/05 A person working in the North Bank building had his car damaged while it was parked in the surface lot. This investigation continues.

04/12/05 A student reported that she was assaulted by a former student in the University Pavilion. The victim reported that she confronted the other student over missing funds from a student group. Public Safety is investigating this incident.

04/12/05 A Recreation Center patron had his wallet stolen from his locked locker while using the Recreation Center facilities.

04/14/05 A woman was caught on surveillance tape keying a car parked in the North Bank Center . The suspect was identified as the ex-girlfriend of the car owner's son. She has confessed to the crime and a felony warrant was obtained for her arrest. Damage to the car was in excess of $2,100.

04/14/05 A Recreation Center patron had his wallet stolen from his unlocked locker while using the Recreation Center facilities.

04/15/05 A student and his friends became inpatient and attempted to force up the parking garage gate located in the Pavilion parking ramp when they discovered that the garage had closed. Public Safety assisted.
