September 10 – September 17, 2004
09/10/04 Friday A subject reported to Recreation building staff that he was having a medical condition, difficulty breathing. DPS was contacted. EMS services were contacted and the victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
09/10/04 Friday A license plate was reported stolen from a car parked in the Mill Street parking deck.
09/13/04 Monday A traffic crash was reported to have occurred in the Water Street Pavilion parking structure. The driver struck a stationary metal pole. No injuries reported.
09/14/04 Tuesday Hit and run accident damage was reported on a car parked in Lot G. A witness left a note on the victim's car with the license plate of the suspect vehicle. An investigation into the responsible driver has begun.
09/15/04 Tuesday A student became ill and required the assistance of EMS in the William S. White building. EMS responded and transported her to the hospital.
09/15/04 Tuesday An office in the North Bank Center reported a breaking and entering. The office was entered by force and a laptop computer was stolen. A suspect was recorded on a video surveillance camera. Fingerprints have also been obtained.
09/15/04 Tuesday A student reported that he was driving through student Lot G when he struck a parked car. Damage was minor. A report was filed.
09/15/04 Wednesday A student's purse was stolen from a classroom in the Murchie Science building after it was accidentally left behind after her class.
09/16/04 Thursday A computer zip drive unit was pried from its anchored position in the computer lab and stolen.
09/16/04 Thursday A student fell from a motorized surfboard and injured his arm during an event at the University Center . He received immediate first aid and was transported to his doctor's by a relative.
09/16/04 Thursday A back pack and various school supplies were stolen from a glass display case outside of the Harrison street ramp. Entry was made by causing damage to the case.
09/16/04 Thursday Three subjects were identified after DPS officers responded to a complaint of persons soliciting for credit cards in the Harding Mott University Center . All three were escorted from the building.
09/17/04 Friday An employee at the North Bank building received an obscene phone call.
