September 18th – September 24th 2004

09/20/04 Monday A professor busy working on her computer in her office in Murchie Science building heard a noise, turned and observed a suspect stealing property from her purse. She confronted the suspect who then ran away.

09/21/04 Tuesday A man in possession of an open container of alcohol approached and sexually harassed a female student near the river front sidewalk. He was arrested and trespassed from returning to University property. A pending Personal Protective Order was also served on him.

09/21/04 Tuesday A complaint was made regarding a woman begging for money in the parking lot adjacent to the William S. White Building . She was contacted and arrested on a valid criminal arrest warrant. A crack pipe was found in her possession. Criminal charges will also be sought.

09/21/04 Tuesday A suspect previously trespassed from University property was seen loitering in French Hall. He was arrested, trespassed again and released pending charges for trespass.

09/23/04 Thursday A vagrant was arrested on criminal bench warrants after he was found loitering in the University Pavilion. He was in possession of numerous unknown pills. These pills have been submitted for analysis. Besides the potential drug charges, charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing justice will be sought.

09/23/04 Thursday A flat screen computer monitor was stolen from the computer lab in the Murchie Science building.
