May 27th - June 2nd, 2006

05/27/06  A lifeguard required assistance in the pool area after passing out and hitting her head. First aid was provided by Recreation staff and DPS.

05/31/06  A previously trespassed subject came back onto University property twice on this particular day and begged for money. He was issued appearance tickets in both incidents for disorderly conduct-begging and for criminal trespass.

05/31/06  DPS was contacted in reference to a faculty member feeling faint and dizzy. DPS assisted the faculty member to a clinic for further medical evaluation.

May 20th - May 26th, 2006

05/22/06  Public Safety called Animal control reference a dog locked in a car. Animal control reported to lot G and removed the dog from the vehicle. The dog was removed for safekeeping.  Owner notified.
 
05/24/06  A house keeping employee called reference a subject following her around the Library. Public Safety located the subject and determined he was a Central High School student skipping school. He was turned over to the Flint Police Juvenile unit.

05/25/06  A report was taken reference graffiti in the men’s restroom in the Pavilion. This investigation continues.

May 13th - May 19th, 2006

05/16/06  A locker was broken into in the Recreation building and cash was removed from the wallet. Information received on possible suspects in this incident. This investigation continues.

05/18/06  A man with a felony warrant for auto theft tuned himself into a Public Safety officer after he learned the Michigan State Police were looking for him. Our officer was in the University Pavilion when the subject approached him and turned himself in. The subject was transported to the Michigan State Police post.

May 6th - May 12th, 2006

05/08/06  Hit and run property damage was reported to a car left parked in Lot G. This investigation continues.

05/09/06  DVD/VCR combination units were stolen from two classrooms in the Murchie Science building. Fingerprints were recovered and are being analyzed.  This investigation continues.

05/10/06  Two wallets from unattended back packs were stolen from a classroom in the White building. One wallet was later recovered in a trash can. Money had been removed from the wallet. This investigation continues.

05/10/06  Hit and run property damage was reported to a car left parked in Lot P. This investigation continues.

05/11/06  A license plate was reported stolen off of a car that was parked in the Mill street parking ramp. This investigation continues.

05/12/06  A faculty member was the victim of a road rage assault in the parking lot P. The incident began near Farmer’s market and concluded in lot P.  This investigation continues.

05/12/06  A subject wanted on warrants held by this department was seen walking through lot R, near the William S. White building. He was arrested on the warrants. A crack pipe and stolen credit cards were found in a search subsequent to his arrest.  Additional warrants pending.
