Your College Years Start at UM-Flint.

We are impressed with your academic credentials and want to help you take the next step in preparing for college after high school. Our goal is to help you reach your goals, and see you thrive on campus and in the world beyond. We are pleased to offer you the HAIL Scholarship.

HAIL Scholarship Highlights

  • This scholarship provides four years of tuition and fees which can be honored at Flint campus initially.
  • Your enrollment at UM-Flint may continue to graduation, or you may choose to transfer to Ann Arbor for your second year, starting in Fall 2018.  To transfer, you must complete the first fall/winter terms with a 3.2 GPA or higher for each of the two semesters (12-15 transferable credits each semester), with no grade below a C.
  • Academic advising services from both campuses will be available to you in your first year as you determine which campus best suits your educational needs.
