HED 542 - Administration and Management of Health Education Programs.
HED 543 - Community Assessment.
HED 544 - Psychosocial Aspects of Health.
HED 562 - Cultural Competence in Health Care.
*Students with grades of B (3.0) or better in PHS 315 may elect HCR 501 in place of HCR 500. - Methods (13 credits).
HCR 506 - Research Methods. / PUB 506 - Research Methods.
HED 545 - Health Communications.
HED 546 - Evaluation of Health Education and Promotion Programs.
HED 547 - Biostatistics for Health Professionals. - Electives (3 credits).
Selected with advisor. - Internship/Practicum (3-6 credits).
HED 590 or HED 591. The internship is not required of those currently in professional health education positions. - Thesis Preparation Seminar (0-1 credit).
HED 594 (optional). - Capstone/Thesis (3 credits).
HED 595 or HED 596. - Thesis continuation (1 credit per term beyond enrollment in HED 595 or HED 596).

Transfer of Credit
