School of Health Professions and Studies (SHPS)
Welcome to the School of Health Professions and Studies
We offer eight programs of study: Nursing, Physical Therapy,
Anesthesia, Health Care Administration, Health Education,
Medical Technology, Radiation Therapy, and Health
Science.
Like the exciting dramas you've seen on television, Health
Care is a dynamic, fast-paced environment; but it is so much
more. Before you can effectively respond to accidents and
other health care emergencies, you need to acquire the proper
knowledge and training necessary to become part of a
successful health care team.
Maybe you are unfamiliar with some of the technology used by
those in the health care field? Or maybe you are interested
in a health related career, but not sure which route you want
to pursue?
Let us tell you about some of the exciting opportunities that
await you at the School of Health Professions and Studies on
the University of Michigan-Flint campus!
Congratulations!
...to the 2009 MSN graduates -- and the faculty who taught them -- for the 100% first-time pass rate on the rigorous American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Nurse Practitioner Certification Examination.
