Thoughts on leadership: For me, leadership is not about position or power, it is about transformation.  It is about transforming the human experience, promoting change for the benefit of others, and inspiring individuals to fulfill their true potential.  Are we leaving things better than they were when we arrived?

Thoughts on leadership: Leadership development is an evolving and ever-changing journey.  It’s like a muscle and we have to keep practicing and growing in order to maximize our potential.

Thoughts on leadership:  Being a leader is not about always holding a title, but about living your life with morals and values that inspire others to want to follow you.

Thoughts on leadership: I believe that every student can be successful and do their very best. I provide encouragement and candy because I really do believe that you can go a little further when someone encourages you. I agree with John Quincy Adams:
 “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”–John Quincy Adams

Thoughts on leadership:  Get your hands dirty. Do the work others aren’t willing to do – people will notice. As John Maxwell wrote, “people buy into the leader before they buy into the vision.” Seek experiences that will help you become someone worthy of a following.

Thoughts on leadership: Transition yourself from “fitting in” to “standing out”. Lead with optimism and enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Use positive energy to weed out negativity.
