2013 Business Appreciation Awards
The Business Appreciation Awards are awarded annually by the UM-Flint School of Management to celebrate outstanding Michigan businesses and individuals. In order to select the best and brightest that the state has to offer, we need you to assist us by nominating those whom you feel are deserving of such recognition.
The following is a list of the awards and characteristics of an appropriate candidate. After reviewing the award details, please click the button below to proceed to the nomination form.
Award Category Descriptions:

Description |
| Corporate Leadership | Large established Companies with a National or Global reach, evidence of strong "Corporate Citizenship" and support for higher education. |
| Regional Leadership | Well established Company with a proven history of success and support to higher education. |
| Entrepreneurship | Successful business that began as a start up and now has achieved evidence of success. Supportive of community and higher education. |
| Social Entrepreneurship | Local organization that successfully addresses the needs of the local community using innovative approaches to solve local needs. |
| Family Business | Family owned and operated business that has demonstrated financial success. Well recognized business achievements are evident and the business places a strong emphasis on education and service. |
| Distinguished Alumni | This award honors alumni for professional achievements and distinguished service to the School of Management. |
| Outstanding BBA Student | Undergraduate students achieving academic success as well as success in business and/or community organizations. |
| Outstanding MBA Student | Graduate students achieving academic success as well as success in business and/or community organizations. |
