Clement Chen received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He is Professor of Accounting and teaches undergraduate and MBA courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting and cost accounting. His research areas of interest include budgeting, management control systems, forensic accounting, issues in accounting education, and effectiveness of blended learning and online learning. He has published in journals such as the Advances in Management Accounting, Management Accounting Quarterly, Accounting and the Public Interest, Strategic Finance, Managerial Auditing Journal, Advances in Accounting Education, Accounting Forum, Accounting Education: An International Journal, and CPA Journal. He is the recipient of 2008 University of Michigan-Flint Scholarly and Creative Achievement Award. He received Lybrand Gold Medal and Certificate of Merit for published manuscripts from the Institute of Management Accountants. He serves on a number of School and Campus-wide committees such as the Executive Committee, Code and Nominating Committee, Faculty Advisor to the Beta Alpha Psi, and Chancellor Advisory for Budget and Strategic Planning.

Keith Moreland joined the University of Michigan-Flint faculty in 1994 and currently holds the position of Professor of Accounting. He holds a Ph.D. (Accounting) and MBA (Finance Concentration) from the University of Cincinnati and a BBA (Accounting Concentration) from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). He is a CPA, registered in Michigan, and a CMA. Prior to beginning his teaching/research career, he worked as a Manager for an international public accounting firm and as the Controller for a national consumer services company. Moreland teaches a wide variety of upper level undergraduate and graduate accounting courses including auditing, intermediate and advanced financial accounting, governmental and non-profit accounting, and professional accountancy. He is the recipient of several campus teaching awards. Moreland is an active research, with a current focus in accounting pedagogical issues. He has published in Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Research in Accounting Regulation, The CPA Journal, and Issues in Accounting Education, among other journals. Moreland has held and currently holds various committee and service roles at UM-Flint, including two terms as Chair of the University Academic Affairs Advisory Committee, Chair of the most recent Chancellor Search Committee, and several terms on the School of Management Executive Committee. He is active in professional organizations, particularly as a member of the Michigan Association of CPA's Accounting Educators' Task Force, of which he is a current member and former Chair and Vice Chair. He has been recognized for service contributions as the recipient of the UM-Flint Distinguished Service Faculty award in 2009. He has also served as the Director of Academic Programs and as the Associate Dean of the School of Management.

Jacob C. Peng is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the School of Management, University of Michigan-Flint since 2005. He received his Ph.D. in business administration with accounting concentration from Texas Tech University. Prior to his doctoral work he earned an M.S. in Accountancy degree from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Professor Peng's research interest focuses on the behavioral impact of information technologies and how technologies affect the dissemination of accounting information. His work has been published in a number of scholarly journals, including Journal of Information Systems, Review of Accounting and Finance and Accounting Perspectives. Professor Peng is also an active member in the international academic community and develops a few successful study abroad programs that take students to Japan and Taiwan. Shawn Xu is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the School of Management, University of Michigan - Flint since September 2009. He earned the Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in accounting from Michigan State University. He has taught Principle of Managerial Accounting and Intermediate Financial Accounting among other courses. In classroom, he encourages student participation and creates interaction opportunities through in-class activities and case studies. His research interests cover a variety of topics in accounting and finance areas and include accounting conservatism, financial reporting quality, executive compensation, corporate governance mechanisms and their interactions. He has received Excellent in Teaching Award from Michigan State University and was a Golden Apple Recipient at UM-Flint. He also received the Dean's Research Program Grant for 2009/2010 at UM-Flint. He is actively involved in School- and University-wide activities with a focus on students' affairs. He currently serves on the School's Undergraduate Committee and the University's Students' Concern Committees. He is a member of American Accounting Association and has served as referees for both the AAA Annual meetings and its financial reporting section's midyear meetings.

Francine Cullari is a Lecturer of Business Law. She has J.D. from Michigan State University and currently a candidate for LLM in International Business Law at University of London. In recent years, she took numerous continuing education legal courses. In addition to teaching Business Law in the BBA program and International Business Law in the MBA program, Francine also served for two years the Director of our school's Michigan Family Business Center. She participated in many of the center's workshops. Since Fall 2011, she has been part of the governing faculty of the School, also serving in the Summer Academic Review Committee. She collaborates with tenure-track faculty in research with concrete results in the form of publications (Journal of International Trade Law and Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, chapter in a book), conference proceedings and services to community businesses. She also has 12 non-peer reviewed publications. In addition to continuing her private practice of 28 years, she actively takes part in several committees and advisory boards of State Bar of Michigan. She attends school/university functions such as Dean Speaker Series, Business Appreciation Dinner, Economic Forum, Annual Internationalization Summits, and teaching center's workshops. She is a mentor to many students, particularly those interested in a legal career. Last but not least, she established the Alejandro and Emiliano Sanchez Scholarship, and provides input in the selection process.

Chris Lezovich, Lecturer of Accounting, teaches tax courses in BBA and MBA programs. He holds a J.D. from Detroit College of Law with emphasis on taxation. He is continuing his 24 years of professional experience as an IRS revenue agent. He serves on the advisory board of ITT Tech Institute, and continues his own development with two continuing professional education courses in Accounting and Auditing. He also makes a presentation on CPA review course.

Michael McCarthy serves as Lecturer of Accounting and Finance. He holds a Masters degree from Central Michigan University. He has 14 years of professional experience at various positions including controller, director of finance, business manager and financial analyst. He teaches introductory level accounting courses as well as the personal finance course. In previous years he taught the statistics and management science courses. He served on several Board of Directors and currently for a local credit union. Annually he attends the Conference for Michigan Credit Union Board Members, and audits one. In 2008, he also attended a conference on auditing credit unions.

Cathleen Miller, Lecturer of Accounting, received her Ph.D. from University of Kentucky (1998). She teaches the tax preparation course to the undergraduates. Recently she made six conference presentations and has 5 peer reviewed publications in Managerial Auditing Journal, Advances in Public Interest Accounting, Research on Professional Responsibility and Ethics in Accounting and the CPA Journal. She is an Associate Professor at Wayne State University.
