Brian D. Blume joined the faculty of the School of Management in 2006 after earning his Ph.D. from Indiana University. He also obtained an MBA degree from Bradley University and has experience as a manager in the healthcare industry. Brian teaches courses on 'Human Behavior in Organizations' and 'Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation'. His research focuses on the transfer of training, forced distribution performance management systems, organizational citizenship behaviors, and characteristics of entrepreneurs that are associated with successful new ventures. He has published his research in journals such as the Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business & Psychology, Journal of Occupational & Organizational Psychology, and the Journal of Business Venturing. He has received research grants from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Graduate Management Admissions Council. Amy R. Gresock, Ph.D., joined the faculty at the University of Michigan - Flint's School of Management in 2010. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Management. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida, with concentrations in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, and a minor area of Research Methods. Her masters and undergraduate studies were at the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Gresock teaches graduate and undergraduate Capstone courses in Strategic Management. She also teaches entrepreneurship. The main focus of her research is resource accumulation processes in new firms. Her work has been presented at The Academy of Management Journal, The Babson Entrepreneurship Conference, and published in outlets such as the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development. She is active on campus and involved with a number of university programs.

Thomas A. Hemphill is an Associate Professor of Strategy, Innovation and Public Policy in the School of Management, University of Michigan-Flint. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a primary field in Strategic Management and Public Policy and Secondary Field in Technology and Innovation Policy from The George Washington University's School of Business. He also received an M.B.A. with a concentration in Government and Business from Drexel University; an M.S. in Organizational Dynamics with an emphasis in Technology Management and Corporate Planning from the University of Pennsylvania; and an M.S. in Public Policy with a specialization in Applied Economics and Policy Analysis from Rutgers University. Dr. Hemphill teaches courses in Strategic Management and Business and Society in the M.B.A. program. In the B.B.A. program, he teaches courses in Corporate & Business Strategy, Business and Society, Innovation Management and International Business. His research areas include: Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation; Technology and Innovation Policy; Business Governance and Ethics; and Global Business and International Political Economy. He has been published in such journals as Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, International Journal of Innovation Management, Science and Public Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, Business and Society Review, Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business in Society and Thunderbird International Business Review, among others. In a recent article ("Business Ethics Research: A Global Perspective", K. Chan, H.G. Fung, and J. Yau, 95: 39-53, 2010) published in The Journal of Business Ethics, Dr. Hemphill was ranked 5th in the world as to "Leading Authors in Business Ethics Research (1999-2008)" based on an evaluation of 10 years of publication data from 10 leading business ethics, business and society and corporate governance journals. Dr. Hemphill is currently on the Editorial Advisory/Review Boards of Review of Business and the Journal of Business Ethics, Section: Corporate Responsibility (Conceptual/Qualitative).

Yener Kandogan joined the University of Michigan-Flint in 2002. He currently serves as a Professor of International Business and the Associate Dean of the School of Management. He received his Ph.D. (Economics) from the University of Michigan in 2001. He previously taught at the University of Michigan as well as University of Notre Dame. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in international business and economics. His recent publications appeared in the Review of International Economics, Journal of World Business, Thunderbird International Business Review, European Journal of International Management, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, Journal of Applied Economics, Journal of International and Global Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Integration, Review of Applied Economics, International Economic Journal, and Journal of Business Ethics. He also served as a referee to many journals in international economics and business literature. He is also a faculty associate at the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies of the University of Michigan, and frequent contributor to William Davidson Institute working paper series of Ross Business School at the University of Michigan. He has many service contributions to the School and the University in several committees including Strategic Planning Steering Committee, several faculty and staff search committees, Design Team for SOM Space at a new building, Ad-hoc Course Evaluations Task Force, Critical Issues Luncheons Faculty Committee, Campus Master Plan Committee, Promotion and Tenure Committee, International Business Student Organization Faculty Advisor, Executive Board for the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society, SOM Library Liaison, Beta Gamma Sigma - Sergeant at Arms, and Maintenance of Accreditation Committee. As Associate Dean, he is responsible for maintenance and improvement of programs' quality including assurance of learning activities, and their promotion and expansion, preparation of articulation agreements including with international partners, maintenance of AACSB accreditation, faculty/staff/student recruitment and retention, supervision of staff, and communication with other university departments.

Gregory A. Laurence, Ph.D. in Management, is an Assistant Professor of Management at the School of Management, University of Michigan, Flint. His teaching portfolio includes undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior, negotiation and conflict resolution, and human resource management. His research interests revolve around ownership of space and responsibility at work, and include workaholism, job crafting, and workspace personalization and how these and other topics intersect with the experience of stress and overload at work. He is a member of the Academy of Management, the Asia Academy of Management, and the Academy of International Business. Dr. Laurence did his graduate work at Syracuse University, earning his Ph.D. in Management (2010) and MBA (2003) from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management and his MA in International Relations (2004) from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. His undergraduate degree in history is from Ohio University (1992). Prior to beginning his Ph.D., Dr. Laurence worked as Membership Manager for the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and as a business development manager for PADECO, Co., Ltd., a development consultancy based in Tokyo, Japan. He began his professional career as a teacher of English as a Second Language at Meitoku Gijuku Jr. and Sr. High School and AEON Corp., Ltd. in Japan. Since 2010, he has served on the Board of Trustees of the not-for-profit Lake Erie International Model United Nations Corporation and on the Board of Visitors of his undergraduate alma mater, Ohio University's Honors Tutorial College.

Kristan Skylar Powell is an Assistant Professor of International Business and joined the School of Management in 2011 after completing his PhD in International Management at the University of Hawaii. He also completed his master's in management at Durham University in the UK. Skylar's research interests are primarily in the areas of FDI theory and the strategic management of multinational enterprises, and multinational professional service firms in particular. In addition to a number of presentations at conferences such as the Academy of Management's annual conference, Skylar has also published articles in peer reviewed journals such as Personnel Review. When he is not working on research or teaching international business courses at UM-Flint, Skylar is actively involved as an alumnus of the East-West Center and serves as a reviewer for the Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business, the Southeast Chapter of the Academy of International Business, the Journal of Business Ethics, and Personnel Review.

Gerry Knesek, Lecturer of Management, teaches an organizational behavior course at the undergraduate level. He has an MBA from Madonna University and a doctorate from Indiana University. He held various positions at the General Motors Corporation for 30 years in the area of HR, Personnel and Organizational Development, and Employee Training. He continues his administrative duties managing a community college. He has cultural competency certificate in 2008, and served on the board of 3 various committees and teams.

Rod McGraw is a Lecturer of Management. He has a doctoral degree in Leadership (1982) and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Wayne State University. He has 30 years of professional experience at Ford Motor Company. He teaches courses in Leadership and Human Resource Management in the BBA and MBA programs. Recently, he made a presentation at a management conference (2008), and published in the proceedings. He also had a speech engagement at a professional association for HR executives in the same year, and participated in two conferences on consulting and SHRM conference in 2011. He manages a condo association. Dr. McGraw is a former Dean of the School, and since Fall 2011, he has been part of the governing faculty of the School. He has been informally advising students on career opportunities and networking, and he is also the current faculty advisor for the School's chapter of Society for Human Resources Management.

Dave Nelson commenced working as a Lecturer in the fall of 2011 at the School of Management, where he instructs Operations and entry-level Microsoft Business Applications (MIS) on-campus, at satellite locations and online. He has over 10 years of experience instructing in-class, hybrid and online courses in Business, and Mathematics, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dave has a Master's degree in Science, an MBA from Purdue, and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate (Supply Chain Operations) at The University of Toledo, OH. With extensive industry experience in business startup, development, and management, Dave's research focus is in the area of business sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Triple Bottom Line. Dave's publications focus on supply chain sustainability, such as Journal of Supply Chain Management and International Journal of Logistics Systems and Management. He also has published research in Biodiesel, acted as co-author of a mass transit Alternative Energy study under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Transportation, and developed several manuals for industry. His papers have been presented at conferences in North America and Internationally.

Larry Nichols is a Lecturer of Management and teaches the introduction to business course. He holds an MBA from University of Michigan and has 33 years of professional experience at executive level at various banks. He is currently President of a golf and country club and a member of Business Advisory Services company. His recent consulting engagements include a CPA firm, three community banks and 11 other businesses in various industries. He also participated in 9 conferences/workshops/seminars of bank associations, and chambers. Larry has also been serving the school as the executive-in-residence by developing external relationships with the business community, bringing in guest speakers to our classrooms, identifying internships with the students and exploring fund raising opportunities. He has been the Director of the Michigan Family Business Center since Fall 2010, and the chair of the school's Business Advisory Board for many years. Lastly, he has been actively involved with the student organization Business Club, and a regular attendee to schools' many events such as the Dean Speaker Series, Business Appreciation Dinner and the Economic Forum.

Morys Perryy, Lecturer of Management, teaches courses on International Business in the BBA program. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University (MSU). He currently works as a research associate at Center for International Business Education and Research at the same university. He has publications in Academy of Management Journal, and International Journal of Economics and Finance. He also published three instructional materials. He recently completed two doctoral seminar courses at MSU.

Dale Tuttle, Lecturer of Management, teaches introduction to business, entrepreneurship and strategy courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs. He holds an MBA from University of Michigan (1986). He has one book chapter publication. Dale is a co-founder of a non-profit organization and the Vice-president of a property association. He served on the board of a national association and a for-profit company. He recently had two consulting engagements for two separate non-for-profit associations and made several presentations for the Innovations Incubator. He participated in several entrepreneurship and family business operations workshops and in the annual conference of the Academy of Management in 2009. In 2008, he was certified as General Securities Representative and as Uniform Securities Agent.
Dale also contributes to the school's mission as the Director of the Michigan Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. He also assists in the coordination of the Community One projects, and writes grant applications on behalf of the school. He has also been instrumental in development of programs such as veteran's entrepreneurship boot camp. He serves on the advisory board of our family business center, and represents the school on a subcommittee working on the university's strategic planning efforts, represents the university on the board of the Michigan Initiative on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has also been active in several faculty searches by serving on committees and/or actively participating in the interview process. Finally, he has been regularly attending school's annual events such as Dean Speaker Series, Business Appreciation Dinner, and Economic Forum.

Leon Wilson, Lecturer of Management, teaches the freshmen level course on Microsoft (business) applications. He holds a Masters degree in Software Engineering from University of St. Thomas, and currently a Ph.D. candidate at Wayne State University. He has 20 years of professional experience at IT Manager, and continues his experience for a HMO provider. He published one book chapter and a proceeding. He also participated at 4 different conferences in 2010 and 2011 as a presenter, reviewer, and program committee member.

Michael Witt is a Lecturer of Management and Business Law, teaching courses in business law, entrepreneurship and the freshmen level introduction to business course in the undergraduate program. He has a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University (1982). He was recently awarded three research grants, and currently works as the project manager for these grants. He is the President of a medical product technology development company and CEO of a biodiesel startup company. He served on the board of two different organizations. As the entrepreneur-in-residence, he has been providing mentorship to students in their business development initiatives, network and develop professional relationships for the school to identify collaborative projects. He has also been the key individual in writing of several grants for the school and implementing a few grants that received funding for the university. He is the university representative to many regional economic and business development efforts such as Engen, E-Team, and Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. Furthermore, he is the faculty advisor for the student organization Entrepreneurs' Society. Lastly, he has been regularly attending school's annual events such as Dean Speaker Series, Business Appreciation Dinner, and Economic Forum.
