Shanghai University - China
In 2006, Shanghai University of China and the University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) established a cooperative relationship that facilitates transfer of credits to the MBA programs of the School of Management. Accordingly, the University of Michigan-Flint admits Shanghai University students who have met the admission criteria of UM-Flint. Applications should be made directly to the University of Michigan-Flint. Students are awarded UM-Flint MBA degree after the successful completion of the degree requirements detailed below.
The University of Michigan-Flint provides assistance in location an accommodation, and advising on academic matters. Upon arrival, international students are strongly advised to meet with the BBA/MBA Program Director on curricular and schedule advising so that a curriculum plan that meets their unique career goal.
Shanghai University students who wish to pursue an MBA degree at UM-Flint should complete the following coursework:
Elective requirements:
* Only courses completed with a grade of B or better will be considered for transfer or waiver. At most 9 credit hours can transfer.
** Choose as many electives as needed to meet the minimum credit hour requirements. Completion of a minimum of 30 graduate credit hours at UM-Flint is required to receive a general MBA degree, and 33 graduate credit hours at UM-Flint for an MBA degree with a concentration.
