Jacob Peng, Ph.D
Jacob C. Peng is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the School of Management, University of Michigan-Flint since 2005. He received his Ph.D. in business administration with accounting concentration from Texas Tech University. Prior to his doctoral work he earned an M.S. in Accountancy degree from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Professor Peng's research interest focuses on the behavioral impact of information technologies and how technologies affect the dissemination of accounting information. His work has been published in a number of scholarly journals, including Journal of Information Systems, Review of Accounting and Finance and Accounting Perspectives. Professor Peng is also an active member in the international academic community and develops a few successful study abroad programs that take students to Japan and Taiwan.
