Larry Nichols, MBA
Larry Nichols is a Lecturer of Management and teaches the introduction to business course. He holds an MBA from University of Michigan-Flint and has 36 years of professional experience at executive level at various banks. He is a past President of a golf and country club, the member of Business Advisory Services LLC, on the Board of Advisors to a local manufacturing company, a member of the Economic Roundtable for the Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, President of the Michigan Council on Economic Education and a director of bank located in Ann Arbor. His recent consulting engagements include a CPA firm, several community banks and other businesses in various industries. He also participated in conferences/workshops/seminars of bank associations, and chambers. Larry has also been serving the school as the Executive-in-Residence by developing external relationships with the business community, bringing in guest speakers to our classrooms, identifying internships with the students and exploring fund raising opportunities. He has been the Director of the Michigan Family Business Center since Fall 2010, and member of the school's Business Advisory Board for many years. Lastly, he has been actively involved with the student organization Business Club, and a regular attendee to schools' many events such as the Dean Speaker Series, Business Appreciation Dinner and the Economic Forum.
