Leadership Program

The Leadership Program in the University of Michigan-Flint, School of Management's Michigan Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (MCEL) enhances the ability of business owners and decision makers to address internal and external business challenges, with the goals being to mitigate threats, exploit opportunities, and develop valuable networking relationships in the Michigan business community.

This program takes a comprehensive approach by addressing both operational and strategic issues while encouraging the creation of specific, challenging and measurable individual-level and organization-level goals. Meeting once a week during the 9 month program, Leadership Program participants are given the tools and resources to examine their entrepreneurial strengths and weaknesses while investigating new methods for business growth. This is accomplished in a confidential, non-competitive environment with assistance from fellow classmates, external business experts, University of Michigan-Flint School of Management faculty and MBA student project interns.
