Dale J. Seymour, MSM, CLU, AEP

Dale J. Seymour is a partner in Seymour Gill Financial, General Agency for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company in Southfield, Michigan and Principal of Seymour & Associates, General Agency for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company in Maumee, Ohio. Mr. Seymour is a Certified Family Business Specialist, performing comprehensive planning for individuals and business owners. He has a Master of Science degree in management. He received the 1998 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, is a founding sponsor of the University of Toledo Center for Family Business, and is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Mr. Seymour is Past President of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company General Agents Association. He is an Investor Advisor Representative of MML Investors Services, Inc.




Philip D. Bahr, CPA, Managing Principal

Phil Bahr
Phil D. Bahr, CPA, serves on the Board of Directors of Rehmann and is the managing principal of the its 130-person Troy office. Phil has been practicing since 1977. He serves a diverse client base and is actively involved in the tax planning, business consulting, and accounting and financial matters of his clients. Phil received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Kansas State University. He is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, University of Michigan – Flint School of Management Advisory Board, past member of the Accounting and Finance Advisory Board at Oakland University, past Chair of Board and past Chair of Economic Development Committee of the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, past Founding Executive Committee and Board member of Woodhaven of Livonia (not for profit), past Board member of Starfish Family Services (not for profit), and active in his church.




Julius H. Giarmarco, J.D., LL.M.

Julius H. Giarmarco, Esq. is a partner and heads up the firm's Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Julius received his law degree (J.D.) from Wayne State University, and his master of laws (LL.M.) from New York University. His primary practice areas include estate planning, business succession planning, and wealth transfer planning.  Julius lectures frequently on a national basis, including speeches before the American Law Institute - American Bar Association (ALI-ABA) and numerous life insurance companies, brokerage firms and trade associations. Julius has published a number of articles on estate planning appearing in professional journals and is the author of the chapters on business succession planning in Advising Closely Held Businesses in Michigan and The Michigan Business Formbook published by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). He has also been selected by his peers as a Michigan “Super Lawyer” in estate planning.





Carolyn Artman, APR

Carolyn Artman
Carolyn Artman is the Health Plus of Michigan community relations administrator for southeast Michigan. She works primarily out of HealthPlus’s new Troy office and manages corporate citizenship efforts in the region. Artman most recently served as media relations manager for the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau where she created, planned and executed media-relations initiatives for major events such as Super Bowl XL, the 2006 MLB World Series, the North American International Auto Show, and the Bureau’s newest division, Film Detroit. She has also held public relations leadership positions for the Cranbrook Educational Community in Bloomfield Hills, and for Mackinac State Historic Parks. In addition to her extensive background promoting and marketing metro Detroit and Michigan’s top tourism, cultural and educational organizations, she brings experience in health care communications to HealthPlus, having served as a public relations specialist for Ingham Medical Center in Lansing. A Royal Oak resident and Detroit native, Artman earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Wayne State University. She is a nationally accredited public relations professional and an active member of the Public Relations Society of America's Detroit Chapter.




Dale Tuttle, MBA

Dale Tuttle is a Director of the Michigan Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and lecturer of Strategic Management and at the University of Michigan-Flint. During his 17 year academic career, he has taught courses at the MBA and undergraduate levels, including Ethics, Human Resource Development, and Strategic Management. In 2001, Dale left his full-time faculty position at UM-Flint to serve as Vice President of Strategic Management at Cambridge Group Investments. While at Cambridge, he helped to develop an online bond trading business, bondpage.com, that was successfully sold in 2007. In addition, Dale is a co-founder of the Zebra Network, an online shopping network (www.shopzebra.com) that is designed to generate funds for individuals and non-profit organizations. Currently Dale is returning to full-time service at UM-Flint to teach Strategic Management and to help develop an Entrepreneurship program of study.
