Our mission as members of Staff Assembly Council is to assist in providing open communications with all members of our community. In our desire to fulfill this task we provide the following links to others who can provide more specific assistance or information which is outside our Charter's stated objectives. Department of Public Safety
Provides the following services: crime alerts; emergency services and safety education.

Environment Health and Safety
Provides valuable information and training on health hazards, MSDA chemical information, bloodborne pathogens and much more.

Facilities Management
Provide facilities services. Visit Web site for list of services; emergency procedures; floor plans and customer forms online.

Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP)
The FASAP office at UM-Ann Arbor offers a number of services to help with personal difficulties encountered at both work and home.

Office of Human Resources & Affirmative Action
You will find valuable information and resources on applying for open positions, employee benefits and university policies.  There is also information about tuition benefits for staff members and the Dependent Child Tuition Scholarship Program.

Michigan Healthy Community (M-Healthy)
Michigan Healthy Community is a campus-wide effort to encourage healthier living through increased activity, attention to physical safety in the workplace, and other health and wellness efforts. Links to Active U, Understanding U, ergonomics awareness and other health tips.

Women's Educational Center (WEC)
The Women's Educational Center provides information and support to women students, staff and faculty at the University of Michigan-Flint. Their primary purpose is to encourage women to realize their educational and personal goals.
