University Debate Association
The University Debate Association (UDA) is aimed at promoting a broad and diverse understanding of the pressing social, cultural, and political issues of our time through calm and organized discussion among students. The Association prides itself in helping members develop valuable networking and organized debate skills, while at the same time advocating respect and consideration for the views and opinions of others in an effort to promote diversity. The UDA will publish a periodical newsletter called "OpinioNation", in which student debate material will be published and distributed around campus, in the hopes of sparking even more discussion and involvement in the issues.
