Interested in participating in formal recruitment and learning more about sorority life?

The CPA sororities follow a formal recruitment schedule during the fall semester. Formal recruitment is structured so that all Potential New Members (PNMs) can attend an equal amount of events for each sorority. This also allows for each sorority the amount of time necessary to get to know all the PNMs who are coming through recruitment. *Each PNM is required to attend three of five events for each sorority during the recruitment period to be eligible for an invite to Preference Parties and then potentially receive a Membership Bid from any of the sororities. In addition, all students interested in joining a sorority must attend a Greek 101 workshop prior to accepting a Membership Bid.

Fall 2012 Recruitment Schedule of Events (tentative)

The events shall consist of one (1) Info Night, one (1) Philanthropy Night, and two (2) Theme Parties.  Panhellenic Premiere is the kick-off to recruitment where the rules and regulations to recruitment will be addressed.

By signing up for formal recruitment, PNMs will be registered to participate and attend the recruitment events in the fall. There are two options for registering: online at Panhellenic Recruitment Registration or in person at one of the Panhellenic Recruitment Information tables in the fall. Signing up does not require PNMs to participate in formal recruitment; however, if PNMs wish to participate, they must sign up.

All PNMs will be assigned to a Recruitment Counselor during formal recruitment. Recruitment Counselors are mentors for PNMs and serve as guides during all recruitment events. If there are questions, concerns, or issues regarding recruitment, the Recruitment Counselors are available to address them. All Recruitment Counselors are well equipped with the knowledge and experiences of formal recruitment as well as each of the sororities.
