GO GREEK
WHY GO GREEK?
In 1986, a small group of students started the Greek System at the University of Michigan- Flint. In that time, Greek Life has grown to include over a hundred students. Today, nine chapters are strong and vital members of the University of Michigan-Flint community.
Greek involvement provides a unique opportunity for students to have a balanced college life with a focus on academic excellence, brotherhood/sisterhood, community service and responsible social interaction. Greek Life allows students to make lasting friendships with individuals with similar ideals and purposes. Fraternities and Sororities have been offering students these benefits, and much more for over 200 years at America's Higher Institutions of Education.
The Office of Student Life works closely with all Greek organizations to improve their organizations and to help their members become successful student leaders of the University of Michigan-Flint community.
