University of Michigan-Flint

The Council serves as the official representative of the student community in expressing opinions and interests to the appropriate faculty, administrative, and student agencies. The purpose of the Student Government is to listen to and act upon the needs and concerns of students. The Student Government is responsible for appointing students to all University decision making committees and assists student clubs/organizations through the recognition of club constitutions and allocation of money for approved activities.

Campus Activities Board at the University of Michigan-Flint is an opportunity to make great friends and t to be a key player in university programming.

CAB is a great way to get experience in building skills in event planning and coordination, contract negotiation, budget management, marketing, and new member recruitment. 

Greek Life is a thriving area of Student Life which upholds the values of Academics, Brotherhood/Sisterhood, Leadership, Community Service and Philanthropy.

The Michigan Times and M-Times online is the student-run newspaper and website of The University of Michigan-Flint. The print edition is published every Monday during the fall and winter semesters. The online edition is updated as often as possible, with all print editions uploaded each Monday during the fall and winter semesters. Weekly circulation is 2,500 copies distributed through the UM-Flint campus and surrounding downtown area.

The Student Athletic Association (SSA) is the student organized and student led resource for athletics on campus.  It is the SSA's goal to help students connect with sports they want to play (inter-collegiately) and to help promote current sport clubs and form new ones.
