This is a collaborative page for all academic advisors on campus. Its content is driven by you but is maintained by the Student Success Center. Faculty and Staff Advisors have long been asking for a "one-stop-shop" online resource area for all things related to academic advising. Feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with feedback and/or requests for additions.
Faculty and Staff Advisors
Career Connection is the gateway for student and alumni to all things related to careers, including workshops and events happening on and around campus. These events are designed to enhance knowledge about the job market, career searching, resume building, and self-marketing. What’s more, studens can upload their finished resume to be personally critiqued by a career counselor in the Student Success Center before applying to the hundreds of daily job postings that you can find in Career Connection from employers looking SPECIFICALLY for UM-Flint students and alumni!
Please click here to enter the online site to apply for job opportunities for students, workstudy and non-student temporary employees. Student, work-study and non-student jobs require candidates to apply online at umjobs.org , using the on-line system. A profile and resume are required for applying.
Orientation for students
Orientation at the University is a required program designed to facilitate a smooth transition to UM-Flint and assist students in making the most of their college experience.
