The University of Michigan-Flint is proud to once again honor the service of all veterans through the 6th Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 10th, 2017 in the Michigan Rooms of the UCEN from 10:00-11:30 AM.  The ceremony will feature a Chorale performance, a Brunch Buffet, a table honoring POW/MIA, a keynote address from BG Carol Ann Fausone (Ret.), and a short ceremony outside of the University Center immediately following the program.

About the keynote speaker

BG Carol Ann Fausone (Ret.), a 1975 University of Michigan-Ann Arbor alumna, has served in numerous roles supporting veterans.  With a military career beginning in 1977 as a medical officer in the United States Air Force (USAF), General Fausone performed honorably through several assignments spanning over 30 years, including: Director of Education and Staff Development at Fairchild Hospital (Spokane, WA), Education Coordinator for 191st Medical Squadron, Medical Readiness Officer and Assistant Chief Nurse for the 127th Tactical Clinic, Nurse Executive and Vice Commander for the 191stMedical Squadron, and most recently, Assistant Adjutant General for the State of Michigan Department of Military Veterans Affairs.
