University of Michigan - Flint

When I was ready to start a Master’s program, it was important to me that I find one that allowed me to specialize in composition and rhetoric. The new English Language and Literature program at UM-Flint appealed to me because it gives me the choice of concentration, is close to home, flexible, and allows me to design my own program.

Not only does the program suit my needs, but the faculty here are engaged with their students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I feel that along with an excellent education. I am also receiving support and encouragement for further professional development as I am entering my discipline.
