David Arnold - Alumnus, Judicial Clerk for Michigan Supreme Court

I am currently working as a Judicial Clerk for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Marilyn Kelly. My main duties involve drafting reports for the judge, summarizing the legal issues of incoming cases, researching Michigan law to assist the judge with her making decisions, and helping to draft and edit court opinions.

I had many experiences at UM-Flint that were helpful in deciding what avenue to pursue after graduation. My internship at Congressman Dale Kildee's office helped me learn valuable skills outside the classroom. Also, the Constitutional Law class I took in my second year really inspired my decision to attend law school. In spring 2008, I graduated from Hofstra University’s School of Law in New York City.
