University of Michigan - Flint

I am a native of Flint, Michigan and grew up in this city of rich culture and industry. When I decided to pursue my four year degree, I applied to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan-Flint. Though I was offered admission to both campuses, I chose to attend the University of Michigan-Flint. The Flint campus afforded me a high quality education closer to home and the academic and social emphasis on diversity helped me to become a more responsible citizen of the community. Through the study abroad programs, I was able to live and learn in London, England. The experience was unforgettable and I observed life from a different perspective. I loved my undergraduate experience at UM-Flint so much that I came back to attain my Master of Arts in Social Sciences degree. The University of Michigan-Flint, changing the world, one student at a time. I am UM-Flint!
