UM-Flint offers a different university experience.  The student body is comprised of more than just recent high school graduates, and that variety enriches the classroom experience.  The range of viewpoints represented by the class here encompasses young and old, rich and poor in a way that other universities simply do not. 

Working on campus has been a great experience for me.  I love going to class and then going to work and seeing not only my classmates, but many of the thousands of other students that I would probably not get to meet.  Working at the Writing Center has introduced me to the campus community as well.
