University of Michigan - Flint

I received my master’s degree in K-12 Literacy at U of M-Flint in May 2003.  This was an exceptional program.  I have taken many ideas and theories presented in the classes and used them with my k-6 students.  The methods introduced in the program are based on recent scientific data that has been proven effective. Not only were classes held at times that fit into my work schedule, but class assignments allowed us to try the theories we learned with our own students.  I highly recommend this program.
