University of Michigan - Flint

I chose to come to UM-Flint because after one year at a local college near my hometown in Texas, I decided I wanted to go away for college.  My parents grew up in Flint so I have extended family members here.  UM-Flint is my dad’s Alma Mater.  I wanted to follow in his foot steps and become as successful as he has.

I have only been at UM-Flint for one semester and I love it already.  The school spirit and pride is outstanding.  Everyone here is friendly and I felt welcome the moment I stepped on campus.  Even the professors help you make sure you reach your full potential because they truly do care.
