Nick Piazza - Physical Therapy (DPT)
I chose UM-Flint because it is close to home and I felt that UM-Flint's Physical Therapy program offered me everything I was looking for in a PT program. I applied to several schools, but after visiting U of M for the applicant orientation, I left with the feeling that UM-Flint was my best choice.
Being in the physical therapy program, I have contact with many other people in the profession. All of them tell me that U of M is the prototypical physical therapy program in the state of Michigan. After being in the program for a little less than a year now, I feel that the education that I have received thus far has been extremely beneficial.
When I graduate in 2009, I feel that I will be ready to work in all areas of physical therapy. I feel that UM-Flint’s Physical Therapy program will prepare me for the rest of my life.
