University of Michigan-Flint

I chose the University of Michigan-Flint for several reasons. UM-Flint provides a quality education for an affordable price, and is also very conveniently located. Additionally, I was impressed that nearly all the professors possess their PhD's, and unlike larger universities, these professors actually teach their own classes, rather than relying on students to teach.

I find the education for my graduate studies to be of the best quality. The professors are very knowledgeable and hold their students to a high standard. They are experts in the fields they teach, and are interested in the students in their classes. They make themselves very accessible. I have never felt like an unknown face in a crowd. The professors know their students, and know them by name.

I’m confident that the education I am receiving at UM-Flint will allow my to grow professionally as a nurse. Not only to practice as a nurse practitioner, but to become a nurse educator so I can help bring new nurses to our profession. The past graduates of this program have been very successful, and I look forward to the success I will have as a direct result of my education here.
