WEB AND PRINT STYLE  GUIDELINES

University materials distributed to the public through printed brochures, publications, billboards, broadcast or internet say a great deal about the quality of this institution. Often these materials, whether describing programs or policies, are an individual’s first contact with the University of Michigan-Flint. They can form a lasting impression. The purpose of these guidelines is to make that impression a positive one through the proper use of campus symbols-the logo, seal, and colors-and through design work and language that denote quality.

All marketing materials created by university departments not working with the staff of University Relations must receive approval from the Office of University Relations prior to printing, posting or broadcasting information to ensure quality and consistency.
