There is one official YouTube channel for the University of Michigan-Flint. The channel’s video content is categorized into playlists to help users navigate by topic.
Whenever possible, University Relations contracts professional video production companies to create video. We recognize, however, that it isn’t always feasible to hire a professional. When creating your own video content, there are a number of things to consider. For example: accessibility, captioning, permission to photograph, music licensing, copyright, graphics, and more.
If you have a video that you’d like to submit to the UM-Flint channel or would like to learn more about video guidelines, contact University Relations. For more information on video standards, visit Michigan Marketing & Design’s Video Standards document.
