Thanks to the generosity of individual and organizational donors, the University of Michigan system offers various scholarship and grant opportunities that are specifically for women, students returning to college, and students who are low income and find themselves in an emergency situation. Workshops for Preparing Excellent Scholarship Applications

The Women’s Educational Center offers support with scholarship applications throughout the year. From November through January however, we provide workshops on how to prepare excellent scholarship applications with a focus on supporting students applying for the Center for the Education of Women Scholarship. Workshops include information on how to write a great personal statement and prepare an excellent application package.
