It\u2019s about creating a more inclusive, engaging, and effective learning and working environment for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While captions are essential for participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing, their benefits extend far beyond that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Clarity for everyone:&nbsp;<\/strong>Captions help participants better follow along, especially when audio quality is poor, someone has an accent, or technical terms are being discussed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for English language learners:<\/strong>&nbsp;Seeing words as they\u2019re spoken reinforces understanding and retention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Improved focus and comprehension:&nbsp;<\/strong>Captions can help all participants process information more effectively and stay engaged, particularly in longer sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Convenience and flexibility:&nbsp;<\/strong>Transcripts and captioned recordings allow participants to revisit material later, search for key points, or catch up if they couldn\u2019t attend live.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inclusivity by default:<\/strong>&nbsp;Turning on captions signals that accessibility is a priority, helping everyone feel valued and supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zoom and Google Meet make it simple to enable captions with a simple click.
