attend class?<br><\/strong>All courses will be online, asynchronous, and completed in seven-week sessions, which means you study and work when it is convenient for you, while meeting overall course requirements. <br><br><strong>How is AODC different from other UM-Flint programs?<\/strong><br>AODC offers the same rigorous curricular standards and degree requirements as other UM-Flint programs in a format built for busy professionals and transfer students. The same admission standards apply for AODC, with the additional requirement of transferring 25+ college credits.<br><br>AODC students are supported along the way with an academic advisor focused on their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What kind of degree will I earn in AODC? <\/strong><br>AODC students can earn a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management or Bachelor of Psychology, depending on their chosen program. BIS students will choose two certificates to earn with their degree: Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Data Analytics &amp; Interpretation, Digital Communication, Essentials in Business Certificate and Group Communication and Leadership. <br><br><strong>Are scholarships available to AODC students?<\/strong><br>Yes! Through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/finaid\/go-blue-guarantee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Go Blue Guarantee<\/a>, eligible AODC students may receive financial support toward their University of Michigan-Flint degree. This initiative is designed to remove financial barriers and create clear, affordable pathways to a U-M education, empowering students to achieve academic goals and build their futures.<strong><br><\/strong><br><strong>I\u2019m nervous about being an online student. Are there support services for students like me?<br><\/strong>Yes! We have a wide range of resources for you to use. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/ode\/\">Office of Online and Digital Education<\/a> offers support seven days a week, plus ongoing online workshops where you can get your questions answered.<br><br><strong>When can I start?<br><\/strong>Students can be admitted to the university six times per year. There are two admission points in every Fall and Winter semester and students can also start in Spring and Summer semesters.<br><br><strong>What is a part of term?<br><\/strong>Part of term is the designation used to identify the smaller seven-week courses within a larger semester. There will be two parts of the term within each of the fall and winter semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-5\"><strong>How long are the certificates?<br><\/strong>Certificates integrated into the BIS Degree Completion Pathway consist of 12 credits of coursework. Certificates will be posted to your transcript as a separate credential at the time of graduation.<br><br><strong>Money is tight right now. Are there any scholarships or other financial aid options for a student like me?<br><\/strong>Yes! <span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">At UM-Flint, helping you afford your education is a priority. We have several options for students, from grants to loans and scholarships.
