2020 Career Fair

The Career Center is hosting the 2020 Career Fair for students to have the opportunity to meet and network with employers/organizations. Students will have the chance to spend time with employers to learn about their companies, industry trends and career paths. 

Don't forget...Professional dress is encouraged. Bring at least 20 copies of your updated resume.

Welcome to Handshake

If you are a currently registered University of Michigan - Flint student, you now have access to our new career management platform, Handshake. 

Not only will Handshake help you discover career paths and find amazing jobs and internships, you also have the ability to view/register for UM-Flint events such as the Winter 2020 Career Fair, coming up on Wednesday, February 19, from 12pm - 3pm.

Scholarship Opportunity

The C.S. Mott Engaged Learning Scholarship's purpose is to support global and domestic engaged learning opportunities for all students, regardless of financial status. Engaged learning encompasses a wide range of valuable experiences such as internships, industry-based classroom projects, and various other hands-on learning endeavors. Students who are currently participating or planning to take part in an engaged learning experiences are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is a one-time award of $500-$1500.  

Deadlines are March 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15.

The Career Center offers comprehensive career and professional development services to UM-Flint students and alumni. An array of programs and services ranging from individual career advising and interactive online programs, the annual career/internship fairs and experiential education opportunities are intended to move students through a self and career discovery process intended to equip them for the 21st century workforce. Careers 4 Years

The Career Center's Careers 4 Years program will guide you towards success for your future career. Students who complete the suggested Careers 4 Years tasks will position themselves to have a wide range of professional skills and connections.
