CAS students: Looking for more information on how to successfully complete the rest of the Winter 2020 semester? Keep reading!

  • How will I know about changes to my classes?

Regularly check your UMich email and Blackboard. Your instructors are working to create new learning environments online. Stay up-to-date on changes to assignments and other expectations by regularly checking your email and logging into Blackboard.

Contact your instructor if you have questions about an assignment or other class expectations. They are still available despite not having on-campus office hours.

    • What if I need to set up an appointment with a CAS Academic Advisor?

CAS Academic Advisors are still assisting students virtually. Send your advisor an email to ask questions or set an appointment. If you are advised by a professor, you can also reach out to your faculty advisor via email.

    • How do I submit an academic petition?

The CAS Academic Standards Petition and CAS Petition to Readmit are available online and can be submitted to Rhonda Broadworth at rbrdwrth@umich.edu. Instructors and advisors can email Rhonda in place of a physical signature.

    • I would like to elevate a question or concern about a CAS course.

If you’ve talked with your instructor but you still have questions or concerns, contact: The Department Chair or the Graduate Program Director.

    • I have a question but I'm not sure where it should go.

Don’t hesitate to email us directly at UMFlintCAS@umich.edu and we help you find the support you need. You can also contact @umflintcas on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
