Please remember that putting yourself on a waitlist is&nbsp;<strong>not&nbsp;<\/strong>a guarantee that you will eventually receive a spot in the class.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/registrar\/register-for-classes-faqs\/#waitlist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here are full instructions on how to waitlist for a class<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-2\">A few important things to keep in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can only waitlist for a class that does not have a time conflict with any of the other classes for which you are registered.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You cannot register for one section of a class and waitlist for a different section of the class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notifications that you have received a spot in the class are sent only to your&nbsp;<strong>UM-Flint email address.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have 48 hours from when you first receive the notification that a spot is available to log in to SIS and register for the course.\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you miss this window, your spot will be offered to the next student on the waitlist.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advisors are not able to add\/move\/remove students from the waitlist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waitlists expire 48 hours before classes begin each semester. At this time seats are available on a first come, first serve basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Credits for waitlisted courses are not counted towards your overall credit count until you register for the course.
