Yo! The name's Joshua Cambri. I'm a Filipino American (Kumusta!) and a proud peer educator! I enjoy interacting with the students here on campus and being a part of the change that this Center for Gender and Sexuality promotes. I'm also quite the videogamer and enjoy watching all sorts of stuff from anime to CW DC TV shows. I love volunteering in the community and helping others be the best they can be!

Nikolas Davis

Heyyyy I am Nik! No there is no “C” in my name. I love to break boundaries and push any limits I have to become a better person.  I am a member Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity Inc. & The Campus Activities Board. Within my first year I was able to accumulate 4 executive board positions, carry 1 job, and maintain a +3.0 GPA. Do not ask how I manage time… I don’t. One thing I can say is being a peer educator is by far the best moment of my college career!

Sai Gunturu

Major: Finance and Marketing

Year at UM-Flint: Senior

Hometown: Grand Blanc

One of my passions includes learning from experiences and the people that surround me. Working as a Peer Educator gives me the opportunity to learn and work as a team to create a social change in our community. My other passions include the arts (visual art, music, movies, etc.) and exploring new cultures (via traveling and meeting new people). I always find a trill in listening to others talk about their own passions.

John Hogue

Major: Communication, emphasis in Media Studies Minor: Women's and Gender Studies

Year at UM-Flint: Senior

Hometown: Topinabee, Michigan

As the first one in my family to graduate from both high school and soon college, I think education and knowledge are extremely valuable! Together they can spark social change and justice: other passions of mine. When I'm not enjoying these things, I like to spend time with my partner and look at photos of kitties! I also quite enjoy video games, Netflix, bike riding, campus involvement, and being a Peer Educator!

Niyah Lewis

Major: Health Care Administration and Public Health

Year at UM-Flint: Senior

Hometown: Born in Maine but I’m a military brat so I’m from everywhere.

Hi everyone! My name is Niyah Lewis. I have a deep passion for traveling (it stems from my military brat background), food, outreach, and reforming the health care system. Fun fact about me is that I went to high school in Japan so I am OBSESSED with authentic Japanese food. Out of everything I am involved in I am most proud to be a peer educator. Through this position I have been able to educate others on topics that often do not receive the attention they deserve. I’m always committed to making social change in society and helping others in any way that I can!
