Visit the following Microsoft Azure Dev Tools link to set up your account:
Click the "Sign In" button on the bottom of the page.
You will be redirected to the Microsoft dev tools for teaching validation site where you will begin the sign on proceedure. If you already have a personal microsoft account on the computer you are using it may be listed at this point, you'll want to sign out of the personal account or click the option to sign in using a different account. Provide your full umich.edu (NOT umflint.edu) email address including both the username and the @umich.edu part. Click the "Next" button.
You may be redirected to the umich single sign on or microsoft password authentication page. This will validate your account against the university of michgian directory service. The university uses Duo two factor authentication to validate your sign in. If you have Duo configured properly you should be prompted to validate your sign on at this point.
If this is the first time you are logging in you may be prompted to share information with the service provider as well as accept an end user agreement. Confirm the agreements to continue.
Once you are in the Azure system you should see the organization group listed as "UMICH.EDU" in the upper right hand corner under your user id.
You can download software by selecting "Software" from the navagation menu and selecting the desired product from the listing. Be sure to generate a license key (if needed) and save it in a secure location, you will need it if you ever have to reinstall the software.
