Dear Students:

We recognize what you as students (and we, as a university) are experiencing is unprecedented in higher education, and certainly in our collective lifetime. We acknowledge that COVID-19 conditions remain fluid and continue to change, which is requiring you to adapt to these changes and make many adjustments in real time – all while managing other demands in your lives. We know that this can feel overwhelming at times. But please know that you are not alone - we are in this together!  And that we will get through this together, as part of the UM-Flint community. We remain steadfast in support of each of you and will continuously work to support your health, well-being, and academic success through this crisis.

Yesterday, Governor Whitmer issued a “Stay at Home” executive order for the State of Michigan which further limits the number of university employees and students on campus. As we continue to comply with state and federal mandates and recommended health practices, our community is mobilizing to ensure continuity of support and services to our students.
