Winter 2021 Campus Experience & Academic Calendar
The Winter 2021 academic course schedule will have modality options similar to fall term in an effort to reduce campus density. Academic administrators reviewed all courses, modes of teaching and faculty preference (which included tenure track, clinical and lecturers), were taken into consideration. The target of in-person courses on campus will be 25% or less. The winter semester course schedule can be found here.
The winter term academic calendar has changed. Here are the specifics of the calendar:
- The semester will start on Tuesday, January 19
- Spring break, scheduled for March 1-7, 2021, is eliminated
- Classes end on April 20
- Final Exams are as previously scheduled, April 22-28, 2021
- A decision regarding the Spring 2021 commencement will be announced in January 2021
All student services will be available, with most interactions, programs and engagement handled virtually. Campus services will also change during the transition, including food service, bookstore hours, building hours and access to library, computer labs and discipline specific lab spaces. Any additional changes are listed here.
The Remainder of the Fall 2020 Semester
