Each is evaluated using the criteria below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning From Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4 wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>0 Points:<\/strong> Student does not recognize the distinction between experience and learning and conflates time in a position with the acquisition of college-level learning.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>1 Point:<\/strong> Student describes learning from experience that goes beyond &#8220;time on the job&#8221; and provides specific examples of the learning achieved.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflection<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4 wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>0 Points:<\/strong> Student does not provide any reflection on their learning and submits a resume-like narrative of successive experiences.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>1 Point:<\/strong> Student demonstrates the value gained from reflecting on one&#8217;s learning experiences and provides concrete examples of such reflections.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application of Learning<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4 wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>0 Points:<\/strong> The student has not demonstrated that learning is transferable to other contexts or that it extends from the original experience.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>1 Point:<\/strong> The student has demonstrated that learning is transferable and can be applied to other contexts, either in practice or by hypothetical example.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Part 2: Evaluation of Learning Outcomes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Awarding of academic credit for prior learning is grounded in the demonstration and documentation of your learning. This portion of the rubric specifically addresses each learning outcome of the course for which you are seeking CPL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the learning documented does not align with a course in the University&#8217;s Catalog, you will articulate the learning outcomes in the form submitted with your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For each learning outcome, evaluators will assess three criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Outcome Identified and Addressed<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4 wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>0 Points:<\/strong> Narrative does not demonstrate adequate mastery of the course learning outcome.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>1 Point:<\/strong> Narrative demonstrates adequate mastery of the course learning outcome.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting Documentation<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4 wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>0 Points:<\/strong> Portfolio does not contain supporting documentation for the learning outcome.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>1 Point:<\/strong> Portfolio contains appropriate supporting documentation for the learning outcome.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alignment<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4 wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-4\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>0 Points:<\/strong> Narrative fails to align work product with learning outcome.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"wp-block-wp-bootstrap-blocks-column col\">\n\n<p><strong>1 Point:<\/strong> Narrative sufficiently aligns work product with learning outcome.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><!-- Section: Capacity Note --><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Outcomes Capacity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The evaluation form accommodates up to thirteen learning outcomes.
